Hits to ear causing loss of balance?

sounds like the older cats equillibrium is off. It could have been due to being hit but I doubt it. I think there is just backed up fluid. Did they give you antibiotics or just an ointment? Because you might need to get an antibiotic to clear that up. It really sounds to me that there may be fluid throwing off the balance. It may not be one thing that is causing him to fall over, it could be totally sparatic because of the build up.
