If a boiler's volume is increased, does the operating psi need to increase to match previous max steam output?

It doesn't follow that the operating pressure should be increased.The operating pressure may be required by the consuming plants and its safer to operate at the same pressure so that pipe lines and other pressure vessels won't be affected.
