My dog hates my new puppy?

okay- to make it safe for both of them keep them on leashes when they are around each other. try to ociate good things with your older dog while bringing the puppy in the room(ex. give ryker a treat every time fergie goes near him so he will think fergie is a good thing) and train fergie or make it clear to her that ryker is the older one, the one she has to listen to and back down too. because in your story it sounds like fergie is trying to challenge ryker and that will only make the issue between them worse. if all fails just find a private dog trainer to get their problems resolved- pet smart had private puppy training cles.. hope this helped
