How can I get Brett Favre on the Minnesota Vikings in Madden '09? The salary caps won't let me trade him.?

I would like my Vikings team to be as accurate as possible with this year's roster (understanding there are no rookies I can obtain), but most importantly, I can't seem to trade Brett Favre no matter how many people I trade. He is so expensive, no matter what I do, the Vikings can't afford him. I tried starting a franchise, but he is on the All-Pro or something, and can't be obtained. Anything else I do, the salary cap prohibits me.
