What features would your ideal house have?

I have a 2200 sq. ft home on one level it's an earth home, which means it's all on one level, and I particularly like that. While I'm only 65 it makes it easy to get my Mother -In- Law in and out when she comes over. Also looking down the road, might make it easier on me one day:). The one thing I 've seen in here was a question about a roof system they use in the UK that I wish was on my roof. Was a commercial roofing contractor for 29 years and see many advantages to this system, and understand how it would work and save a lot of money on energy. Also would sure break up the monotony of other roofs in the neighbor hood, only problem I could for see, would be any thing needing venting, through this system would require a great deal of skill to accomplish. Since I'm a professional at that as long as I'm healthy it wouldn't be a problem. But you can look at the video and see it. It wouldn't do very well on a high pitched roof. Kept trying to find a nice sedum roof could find a nice one. I like all your ideas , but this roofing sytem has been on my mind since I first saw it.
