Aerated wine gl from Italy?

My grandfather used to drink wine out of the wine gl well more like a vase it had a round bottom and it came up like a vase but in the center was pinched and would make the wine kinda bubble. You had to kinda kiss it to be able to drink out of it he is an Italian man so that may help also the reason I am asking this is I come from a military family and we had packers move our stuff, They stole it.
