They have a choice of PDA (public displays of affection), right?

I believe that the couple has their own choice, of showing affection. If they want to, they should be able to. Why are people almost always against the couple showing affection towards each other? Should the couple stop? It is their own choice, but others always seem to be stopping it, what do you think?
