Girlfriend's ex coming?

Well, maybe she feels bad because he obviously spent a ton of money to come see her, probably still has feelings for her, and she doesn't want to break his heart and make him think he totally wasted his money? I doubt she'll try anything with him, she probably just doesn't want to offend him since he went through all the trouble to come to see her.
