Jamaican neighborhoods: NYC or ATL? Where should I move ?

I'm looking for a safe Jamaican neighborhood and I'm not sure if I should move to the Bronx, Brooklyn, (not Queens). I've heard Flatbush , East Flatbush, and Crown Heights are dangerous but I'm not sure about the Bronx Jamaican neighborhoods, are they safe or dangerous (gangs and shootings) etc ? If I choose Atlanta, I'd prefer Decatur,GA. Please help me.
