How does this paragraph look? Any grammatical errors or such?

As I was reading the novel I noticed that somewhere along there was a shift from the real part of the book to the unreal part. For the majority of the book, I could see some kind of reality but towards the ending I felt like everything that was going on was a dream. Chantal was dreaming towards the end of the book. Her dreams of not being able to escape the bizarre setting at the salon indicated to me that she is not able to escape the man she loved, Jean-Marc.
