SORASing Jack Manning OLTL?

I was really upset when I read this somewhere online, that they are SORASing the character of Jack Manning again and the actor, Carmen LaPorta (?) will be leaving the show. I know that sometimes they SORAS kids to give them better storylines and use them more, but this kid has GREAT chemistry with Trevor St John and Kie DePaiva. Why ruin a good thing?
